THE COLLECTORS

EDIT. 04 MEET EUGE

“I love living surrounded by nature, I find inspiration in

I keep her in mind in every project and bring her inside, to the inner place where one lives and breathes. I believe that the organic, in this sense, is present throughout my life.”

Euge, interior designer and space stylist.

My occupation, my passion:

- I'm an interior designer and I do space styling, and I

I like to think that I am a collector of the works of art that we

Nature gives. For me, a very important word is wonder.

wonder, always being open to finding beauty in the

down to the smallest details. Aesthetics are the driving force of my life, and I strive to find the meaning of beauty in every project I design.

It is my great passion.

My masterpiece:

My personal masterpieces are definitely and always will be.

They're going to be my children.

In my professional life, my masterpiece to date was the Rincón del Socorro project, a residence located in what

Today it is the Iberá Nature Reserve, which we co-designed with Douglas Tompkins. It was a project nourished by the traditions of Corrientes.

Their respect and love for the land and craftsmanship were our motivation and inspiration for the design of the place. We sought to integrate

and connect with their culture, and it was a beautiful experience. From this perspective

I believe that a masterpiece has less to do with magnitude or complexity, and more to do with representing the essence and beauty that the place gives us through its history, its culture, and the people who inhabit it.

My style can be defined as…

- I find it difficult to define my style because my process with each project is different.

It doesn't necessarily stem from aesthetics, but from a search. I try to see what the place offers me, what surrounds it, and what the people involved in the project bring. I could say that I always look for warmth, for the space to feel alive, full of elements that generate peace.

This is generally achieved through natural elements, fine materials, a subtle color palette, and features that lend personality to the space without overwhelming it. It's a balancing act to create an integrated and harmonious space in every sense.

We believe that everyone has an artistic side in different ways. How would you define your most artistic side?

- In my own aesthetic quest, besides collecting objects, I also make collages. It's a technique that fascinates me, the composition of different elements to create something new and unique, unrepeatable, because all the elements I use to create are elements that

I find them in nature and in my archives. I love exploring aesthetics from this perspective.

What makes you unique?

I truly believe that we are all unique by definition. Our own experiences and perceptions create a 'unique formula' that

It's the human being. What truly defines me is the connection I feel with nature, and this sense of wonder. To search, to find, and to create; to allow myself to explore in every situation and to take what is given to create something new and profound—I believe that is my most precious talent.

What's the most organic thing you do in your life?

I love living surrounded by nature; it inspires me, I keep it in mind in every project, and I bring it inside, into the place where I live and breathe. I believe that organic living is present in this sense.

in my entire life.
